Darrell Starr · Founder

First, we get to know your business.

DA Works supports businesses that are working through a challenge, preparing to grow, or building something new.

I take the time to understand the company, its people, its customers, and its financial position. From there, we can decide what needs attention now and what must be built for the next stage.

From entry-level work to Chief Operating Officer—and from corporate operations to small business.

I learned business by working at every level. I have done the day-to-day work, managed projects and departments, built teams, reviewed financial performance, and carried responsibility for the larger operation.

That experience helps me understand both sides. Corporate companies have more structure and resources, but changes can affect many departments. Small businesses can move faster, but every decision has a more immediate impact on cash, employees, customers, and the owner.

My background includes operations, low voltage, project management, financial review, marketing, customer support, employee training, video production, restaurant operations, food-safety systems, HACCP approvals, and practical uses of AI in the workplace.

View the full areas of support

Understand the goal. Review the business. Build the right support.

Sometimes the goal is to correct a problem. Sometimes it is to grow, expand, or prepare the team for what is coming next. The work should match the reason you reached out.

We begin with a conversation about the business today and where you want it to go. Then I review the areas connected to that goal and recommend a clear next step.
